What is Volex PG?

A free tool for NEET PG counselling. Enter your All India Rank and category and it shows your chance of a seat for every course and college in MCC counselling, with closing ranks from every round of 2021 to 2025, college fees, stipend and bond details, and a map.

Where does the data come from?

From the official result PDFs and seat matrices published by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for 2021 to 2025. Every row is checked word for word against its page in the PDF, closing ranks are recomputed by a second, separate program, and totals are compared with published figures. The Checked data tab in the app lists every check and its result.

How is my chance worked out?

For each course, college, quota and seat category, the app forecasts this year's final closing rank from the last few years, with a range for how much closing ranks usually move. Your chance is the probability that the closing rank falls at or after your rank. The method was tested by predicting past years it had not seen: it made fewer errors than simply using last year's closing rank in every tested year. It is still an estimate, never a guarantee.

Why does a course say "Closed before your rank"?

It means last year's final closing rank was better than your rank, even though the forecast gives you a reasonable chance because earlier years closed later. Treat these options with caution and keep safer options on your list.

Does it cover state quota counselling?

Not yet. It covers MCC counselling only: All India Quota, central and deemed universities, and DNB. State counselling is planned.

Are the 2026 seats included?

Not until MCC publishes the 2026 seat matrix. Until then, new or removed seats are not reflected, and the app says so on each course.

Are the fees, stipend and bond details verified?

They are shown exactly as each college declared them to MCC, and MCC states it takes no responsibility for them. Values that look like typing errors or yearly totals are flagged, never changed. Residents often report receiving less stipend than declared, so the app also collects resident reports and shows a figure only after three reports with checked evidence.

What is the mop-up round in 2021 and 2022?

In those years MCC called the third round the mop-up round. The app shows it in the Round 3 position and labels it.

Is my rank stored or shared?

No. Your rank, category and choice list stay in your browser on your device. Nothing is sent unless you choose to email us.

Is Volex PG official or linked to MCC or NBEMS?

No. Volex PG is an independent product of Volex Labs. Always confirm dates, rules and seats on the official MCC website, and fill your choices on the MCC portal yourself.

Is it free?

Yes. Everything in the app is free for the 2026 counselling season.

I found a mistake. What do I do?

Tap Improve this app in the app, or email hello@volexlabs.com with a link or screenshot of the source. Every correction is checked against its source before the data changes.

Can I install it like an app?

Yes. On Android, open it in Chrome and choose Install app from the menu. On iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share and then Add to Home Screen. It works offline after the first visit.
